Flipping through books, magazines, the internet, and just about every other piece of media I can get my hands into is like finding the sweetest piece of candy at the bottom of the candy jar-especially when I find what I’m looking for in these sources. What am I looking for? Artists, designers, unknown talent (or known talent, just not to me haha), and creative thinkers in the world today.
A while back, I came across the name Fafi-a French artist who excels in creating graffiti-like illustrations of young modern females. Her work is alluring as it shines on products by Colette, Adidas, LeSportSac, Coca-Cola, and even M.A.C cosmetics. While her designs run on the sides of sneakers and decorate tubes of lipsticks and eye shadow covers, she has set to release her own comic book this year to showcase adorable, alluring, and often provocative work that was born into this world sixteen years ago.
